In the 70's Schaller manufactured the 'F logo' tuners used by Fender, now they are available from Schaller directly as part of their Original F-Series. The distinct 2 screw cover houses the collared 1:14 gear ratio tuners with the split string post and chamfered buttons, they even have 'made in W.Germany' stamped on the inside. A vintage style press fit bushing secures the string post on the front of the headstock (the collared tuner and press fit bushing fit a modern 10 mm 3/8" size headstock hole). Please note these are slightly larger than the originals and will not directly retrofit 70's Fenders.
