Description
The TonePros AVR2 Tune-o-matic gives you the appearance of a vintage Gibson ABR-1 style guitar bridge but with their trademark locking posts.
Set screws in the bridge body lock it to the height adjustment bridge posts which improves vibration transfer to the guitar body, eliminates rattles, removes any chance of the bridge falling off during string changes and stops the height adjustment accidentally being changed. This version also has starter notches in the centre of the brass saddle to make the string slotting process easier rather than the blank saddles found on many ABR-1 bridges. The fit of the saddles is also improved so they don't lift against the retainer wire and rattle and there's slightly more intonation range. The TonePros AVR2 will fit Gibson USA ABR-1 bridge posts found on many '50s and '60s style guitars like the Les Paul, SG, ES etc. and is supplied with imperial 6-32 thread posts and thumbwheels.
