The Faber ABRH-59 Tune-o-matic Bridge is a 50s vintage correct 'no wire' ABR-1 style bridge with the post spacing and hole size to match the Gibson ABR-1 threaded 6-32 bridge posts (the ABRH will not fit Nashville or metric TOM posts). We stock these with brass saddles (both plated and plain brass) and also nylon saddles (to match some select vintage ABR-1 bridges), the saddles have the Gibson 12" radius. The Faber ABRH is designed as an upgrade piece it comes as just the body, bridge posts are not included.
If you need to replace an 'import' metric Tune-o-matic we stock the Faber ABRM.

Faber ABR-1 Tune-o-matic bridge and Faber Stop bar Tailpiece ( Gold ) ..... Both items look excellent, the Gold plating finish appears to be good quality and the "Shading" of each item is well matched. Un-fortunately they are not fitted yet as I am waiting for the ABM conversion posts ( 8mm to 3.65mm / 8mm Tail posts ) to arrive in stock ).

Excellent replacement for a Gibson ABR1
I replaced the bridge and tailpiece on my 1996 Gibson R7. This was purely because the original ABR1 had the spring on that keeps the saddles in place, which is not strictly period correct. I know this sounds a little nerdy but I thought I might as well do it. The faber hardware has given the guitar a more fifties vibe (which I wanted). The tone is slightly warmer. Its not a massive difference. The qualty of the faber bridge is outstanding and it is a worthy upgrade.
