Description
The Elmer Guitar Archtop Binding Router Guide screws on to the end of Dremel tools to enable you to cut binding channels on instruments with carved tops where traditional router bases would be unstable. The elongated edge guide rides against the instruments side to ensure the channel is cut square to the side and a small lip rides on the top to keep the cutter vertical. The channel size is adjusted via the thumbscrew and then locked in place with the hex/allen head screw allowing binding a thickness of up to 5.6 mm (0.22") to be cut when using an 8 mm (5/16") router bit. Machined from aluminium and brass with a 3/4-12 thread for Dremel and other compatible rotary tools.
