CTS potentiometers are high quality and renowned controls for guitar electronics. The 250K Ohms resistance gives a warmer tone and is traditionally used for single coil pickups and its logarithmic audio taper is normally used for volume pots so the human ear can hear the volume change more smoothly. The short shaft is useful when mounting to scratchplates or control plates (Stratocasters, Telecasters etc.) to ensure the knobs do not sit too high above the body, it is made from durable brass and has fine 24 spline mounting for imperial sized knobs.
