This left handed Gotoh 510T-FE1 is a high quality tremolo from their flagship 510 range and has the post spacing of Fender American Standard Stratocaster tremolos but with a slightly wider string spacing (54 mm E-e). This bridge features steel saddles for clarity and response and their block design is comfortable on the hand while playing. The bridge plate is made from extremely resilient chromium molybdenum steel finished with heat treatment to ensure strong and hardwearing knife edges. There are slots in the bridge plate that the height adjusting screws for the outer e string saddles fit in to, stopping sideways movement of any of the saddles. Gotoh's FST Tremolo block holds the ball end of the strings in a position to stop them binding on the bridge plate as they travel to the saddles, reducing wear on the strings and bridge and helping the tremolo to return back in tune after use. The pivot studs can be locked in to their body anchors to give the most transmission of sound to the body. The tension holding the tremolo arm can be adjusted via a set screw in the bridge and the arm and all mounting hardware is included.
