This set of 2 Faber Extra Long 1.5" Steel Tune-o-matic Posts can be inserted in to the guitar body further than standard ABR-1 posts, providing a stronger connection between the bridge and the guitar to improve tone and reduce post lean, commonly known as the 'maple flame' mod within the Les Paul community. The set comes in metric and imperial thread styles, the imperial version has the standard 6-32 inch thread used on Gibson ABR-1 bridges and the metric version has a 4 mm metric thread for use with 'import' style ABR-1 bridges made in Japan and across Asia (Epiphone, PRS SE, ESP/LTD, Schecter etc.).
