The orientation is in reference to a standard 4 in line set, so a right handed tuner would match a 4 in line right handed set (so if you are a right handed player and wanted a 2 x 3 configuration i.e. 2 tuners on the top and 3 on the bottom of a right handed headstock, you would need to add a left handed single tuner to a 2 x 2 set).

The Gotoh GB350 Res-o-lite bass tuners are made from 'duralumin' (a hardened aluminium alloy) with plated plastic buttons, resulting in very lightweight tuners, great for upgrading basses that suffer from neck dive or reducing the overall weight on your shoulders when standing. Featuring a 1:20 gear ratio that tunes up quickly and accurately. The 'Rock-Solid' string post improves the tuning stability of the tuner and stays strong during bending and tremolo use, special elastic parts eliminate any rattle in the post and transmission of string vibration to the instrument is maximised. The tuners are completely sealed and permanently lubricated through Gotoh's 'Lubri-Plate' technology, a Teflon coating applied to both parts of the worm gear ensures smooth gear meshing, reduced backlash and increased durability.
