The Gotoh GE104B is their take on the vintage ABR-1 style Tune-o-matic bridge. The narrower body width is compensated for by the 3 reversed saddles on the bass side for extra intonation room. With 4 mm threaded bridge posts for those that like them to thread directly into the body. On Gotoh's version the string saddles are built in to the bridge, so no need for a retainer wire to keep them attached when you restring. You can adjust the bridge height via the standard thumbwheel and the bridge posts are spaced 74 mm.

In conjunction with a Faber E-sert bridge post kit and Gotoh GE101A tail piece, this bridge has lifted my Epi LP59 Std outfit to a new level. Top Quality But Surprisingly Cheap
This is a very well made bridge, especially for the price. The captive nuts that retain the intonation screws are a good idea that save you from having either an easily lost sprung wire to hold the screw heads down or circlips that have a habit of breaking or pinging off. Users MAY find that the shallow string slots in the saddles of the thicker strings MIGHT need deepened very slightly to prevent the strings sliding sideways out of them. This is easily achieved with fine inexpensive needle files. There's no need for expensive nut slotting files to do this as long as you are careful and keep checking as you go. There really is no need to spend much more for one of the pretty expensive USA or German brand name bridges when you can get such good quality at this price.
