The set of 6 in line right handed Hipshot Grip Lock Locking Tuners are high quality design with a 1:15 gear ratio to tune up quickly. Locking tuners speed up and simplify string changes and eliminate string windings round the tuner post, simply insert the string through the post and pull tight and then use the thumbwheel on the back of the tuner to lock the string in place.

The included Hipshot Universal Mounting Plates allow screwless installation of the tuners meaning you don't have to worry about the attachment screw holes lining up or having to drill new mounting holes. The plates mount between the tuner and the headstock and have tabs on to stop the tuner rotating, the tuners nut on the headstock face holds the tuner and plate together. Please note if you are going to screw mount these tuners they have an offset screw (the same placement as modern Schaller mini tuners), ideal for narrow headstocks and 12 string guitars (these do not have the more standard 45 degree angle screw normally used on 6 in line headstocks), please see the dimensions for screw tab location.
