Description
The Gotoh BB-02 battery box fits a single 9V battery, when changing the battery, the holder tilts the battery up, out of the guitar giving good access to the battery and allowing quick and easy changes. It comes with built in connection terminals and lead wires. The battery box mounts to the guitar body with screws (included) through the bottom of the exterior case (before installing the interior battery holding cradle).

Good quality battery box
This works well. There is no messing around with battery clips like the cheaper ones. The battery slots in securely and neatly.
It is a bit difficult to unclip, but I'd rather that than run the risk of it popping open.
Bought as a direct replacement for the same battery box. Only replaced because the guitar had been in the loft for 10 years resulting in the expected corrosion.
Simple drop in replacement. This box screws in from the bottom, so there are no visible screw heads - but that does mean you need to be accurate routing the cavity for it as it needs to be the right depth.
