These CDE 225P Orange Drop Capacitors are the industry standard for guitar tone circuit capacitors, they are high quality polyester film capacitors with a distinct orange epoxy coating that is instantly recognisable in the control cavity. The Vintage capacitors were made by the now defunct Sprague Electric (also famous for the Bumble Bee Capacitors) but fortunately the Orange Drop capacitors line still exists under Cornell Dubilier (CDE) today.

These are the correct 100 V size for guitars (these are sometimes supplied as 200 V or 400 V which have a larger body) and are supplied in the values typically used for guitar tone circuits, 0.022 uF is used with humbucker pickups and 0.047 uF is used with single coil pickups and on a lot of basses.
