Description
This Hosco Maple Saddle Blank is for our Hosco National style resonator biscuit bridge (available separately). Maple is the traditional wood used for resonator saddles and provides a hardwearing saddle for the strings. The saddle blank being separate from the biscuit bridge base means you can easily replace the saddle overtime as it wears. This is a saddle blank and so is not supplied slotted or shaped.

No help from customer service after asking for help. Too narrow to fit my National guitar biscuit.
This product doesn't fit my National guitar or my Michael Messer lightning biscuit. It is too small/narrow and wobbles in the biscuit. After painting with two coats of black paint to try and make it fit I realized it would take about 5 coats i wrote to customer service. The advice given was put a business card on to pack it out. Not great advice to put in cardboard to deaden any sustain and reduce all the subtle overtones a resonator guitar gives you. Yeah thanks 👍 not...
I regret buying three maple saddles as they are no good to me whatsoever, and I am told the two i painted to try and make fit cannot be returned.
I don't like to leave negative reviews and only leave this after I allowed the business the opportunity to resolve my issue.
They did not...
It is also too short to be suitable for the desired string spacing so fails in every possible way.
I have two types of resonator biscuit and it fits none of them.
I don't mind sanding something to fit, too small is not so easy to sort.
If I could I would leave zero stars for this fail 👎
