This set of 2 official Fender American Standard String Trees maintain the correct string break angle across the nut and offer a smoother surface with less friction than vintage bent sheet metal 'butterfly' trees to ensure strings return to pitch more accurately during bending and tremolo use. The string trees fit American Standard, American Special and American Deluxe and other Fender guitars. Please note there is a locating pin on the underside of the string tree (as well as the mounting screw), if you are fitting these to a guitar that has not previously had them installed the headstock will need to be drilled for the locating pin.
