The Faber iNsert kit features 2 steel conversion posts with a 7 mm bottom section to convert guitars with USA Nashville style bridges to an ABR-1 style bridge. The threaded top section enables you to install a Faber Tone Lock Bridge.

The iNsert kit comes in two versions, metric and imperial, the metric version has a 4 mm top thread for mounting 'import' ABR-1 style bridges made in Asia like the Gotoh GE104B or the Faber ABRM. The imperial version has a 6-32 inch thread for mounting a Gibson ABR-1 bridge or the Faber ABRH. The included thumbwheels thread on to the top of the one piece steel posts to adjust the height of your chosen tune-o-matic as normal.

The 7 mm bottom section is designed to completely replace the body bushing installed on Gibson Les Paul guitars with Nashville bridges and so the bushing will need to be removed from the body, to do this the kit comes with a 5 mm bolt, this is threaded through the Nashville body bushing and when it pushes against the bottom of the hole in the body it will push the stud up and out of the guitar. A metal sleeve is also included for installing the iNsert kit post, this slots over the threaded top section of the post and a hammer or press is used against the sleeve to push the post in to bridge bushing hole in the guitar body.
