The JHS Supreme Fuzz Pedal is their recreation of the most prized Univox Super-Fuzz in founder Josh Scott's collection, an extremely rare black and grey model from 1972, but with modern day reliability and some extra versatility.

This effect is an octave fuzz that turns any note or chord into a thick and searing texture, playing a high octave up alongside the distorted note, this is an effect that demands your attention. The control knobs are Volume and Expand, Expand increases the amount of fuzz. On the side of the pedal are 'Tone' and 'Mode' switches, the Tone switch engages a mid scooped sound that flattens out the attack the same as the switch from the original Super-Fuzz, the 'Mode' switch gives a more pronounced octave up effect, thicker mid-range and more available volume/boost for greater versatility.
