The Friedman BE-OD overdrive is their hugely popular pedal based on the Friedman BE-100 amplifier, famed for its fantastic Marshall like tones. The BE-OD delivers authentic tube amp sound from a compact pedal with all the controls needed to shape your tone including volume, gain, tight, bass, treble and presence. The presence control contours the ultra high frequency content and the tight control shapes the low frequency content, turning it up tightens the sound. These responsive knobs will take you from light, slightly broken up overdrives to straight up gain nirvana. In additional to the main gain knob there is an internal gain trim pot which can be used to increase or decrease the total amount of gain available in the pedal. The BE-OD can be run at 18V for higher headroom. Built in the USA and designed to withstand decades of abuse the BE-OD is a must have pedal for any tone enthusiast.
