The Friedman BE-OD Deluxe adds a second channel and mid control knobs to their hugely popular BE-OD pedal (based on the Friedman BE-100 amplifier, famed for its fantastic Marshall like tones) for greater versatility. Channel 1 (the top row of knobs) is identical to the original pedal and channel 2 (the bottom row) has lower gain allowing you to dial in both a rhythm and lead sound and then switch between the two on the fly. Each channel has an independent set of knobs for volume, gain, bass, mids, treble and presence (mini knob) and a three position tight switch. The presence control contours the ultra high frequency content and the tight switch shapes the low frequency content, tightening the sound. These responsive controls will take you from light, slightly broken up overdrives to straight up gain nirvana. In additional to the main gain knobs there is an internal gain trim pot for each channel which can be used to increase or decrease the total amount of gain available in the pedal. The pedal can be run at 18V for higher headroom and comes with a splitter cable to connect two 9V power supply isolated outputs the pedal power jack if you don't have an 18V supply. Built in the USA and designed to withstand decades of abuse the BE-OD Deluxe is a must have pedal for any tone enthusiast.
