These Mounting Nuts are commonly used with mini toggle switches and are handy spares for lost or damaged parts and are particularly useful if you want to mount an extra nut to the switch to set the thread height showing above the surface. By installing a nut on to the switch before it is mounted through a guitar scratchplate or pedal case you can set the amount of the threaded bushing that shows above the surface by adjusting the first nut closer to the top of the threaded bushing, perfect if you want to get a flush look on the front of your guitar or pedal build. These have 1/4-40 imperial threads commonly used on mini toggle switches (will not fit 6 mm metric threads sometimes used on these switches).
