The JHS Double Barrel V4 Dual Overdrive Pedal lets you go from transparent to mid hump overdrive or stack both in either direction for a versatile light and medium gain overdrive with plenty of sound shaping options to cover almost any tonal need.

The right side of the pedal is the JHS Moonshine V2 which is a highly unique and massively tweaked version of the Tube Screamer, it has the classic mid heavy tones that you'd expect but with more gain, volume and tone shaping options. In addition to the standard Volume, Drive and Tone knobs there is a Clean control knob to blend in the perfect amount of clean signal with your overdrive signal and also a gain toggle switch, this gives you a lower volume but more saturated tone in the down position and a louder and more open and crunchy tone in the up position.

The left side of the Double Barrel is the best selling JHS Morning Glory V4 transparent overdrive. Designed to retain the tone and dynamics of your amp while introducing overdrive, it can be used to add some mid to low level grit to your crystal clean tone, boost a crunchy tone into thicker sustain or add tube like touch response to a less than ideal amp. With Volume, Drive and Tone control knobs and a Gain toggle switch for higher gain mode. The gain switch can be controlled by the JHS Red Remote footswitch (sold separately) which plugs in to the remote input jack on the top of the pedal, essentially turning the Double Barrel in to a three channel foot switchable overdrive pedal! Turning up the drive knob adds brightness to the tone and so the bright cut dip switch on the left side of the pedal compensates for this if required.

Switching both sides of the pedal on stacks the two overdrives together and you can choose the order this happens with the toggle switch in the middle of the pedal, so both Morning Glory in to Moonshine or vice versa is available (the switch points to the first pedal in the chain). This stacking ability along with each sides own gain switches, tone shaping controls and the optional red remote makes the JHS Double Barrel an extremely versatile 2 in 1 overdrive pedal.
