This official Fender Prewired Stratocaster Pickguard with Custom Shop Texas Special Pickups makes changing your pickups a complete breeze, the pickups, pots and switch come mounted to the scratchplate and the electronic components have been soldered together for quick and easy mounting. To finish installation simply remove your old guard, solder the hot and circuit ground from the new kit to the existing output jack and solder the trem claw ground wire and screw in the electronics cavity ground wire and that's it, mount the new guard and you're ready to rock with pure Fender sound.

The same high quality components are used as in their guitars, CTS potentiometers, Oak Grigsby lever switch and Fender Custom Shop Texas Special single coil pickups. The pickups are overwound for maximum output and are characterised by their midrange chirp, crystalline highs and tight bass. Featuring a reverse wound reverse polarity (RWRP) middle pickup for hum-cancelling in positions two and four, enamel coated magnet wire, alnico five magnets for more focus and enhanced dynamics with staggered pole pieces for balanced output and period correct cloth wire and fibre bobbins.
