Description
This Hosco Titanium Neck Reinforcement Rod is a strong and very lightweight way of reinforcing a guitar neck to help prevent twists and excessive bowing, its low profile design means only a small amount of wood needs to be removed to create the channel, allowing you to carve thinner necks if you wish. The rods are available in two lengths 450 mm and 550 mm, the 450 mm length is great for electric guitars and the 550 mm length is great for bass guitars. Install one rod either side of the truss rod to increase rigidity while still allowing the truss rod to affect the neck (or in the case of 6 string basses and 8 string guitars with two truss rods you can install a 3rd reinforcement rod between the two truss rods). Adding titanium reinforcing rods can also improve tone and eliminate dead spots, particularly around the high frets/body join area.
