The JHS 3 Series Flanger Pedal is inspired by the classic (and absurdly expensive) analogue flangers of the past like the Electro-Harmonix Electric Mistress, Tycobrahe Pedalflanger and the MXR M117 Flanger.

The Blend knob allows you to blend in the flanger effect over your clean signal (turn clockwise for increased flange and experiment with this knob in lower positions for almost chorus style tones), the Rate knob controls the speed of the flange (the LED pulses in time with the modulation) and the Intensity knob controls the amount of flanger effect. The Tape toggle switch moves the sound into tape-like sweeps with zero through flanging (inspired by real tape flanging as done in studios by altering the speed of tape machines during playback).
