This Faber ABR-1 style Tune-o-matic Posts and Thumbwheels Set is made entirely from brass just like the original Gibson ABR-1 tune-o-matics and the posts thread directly in to the body for a strong connection between the bridge and guitar body. The imperial version has the standard 6-32 inch thread used on Gibson ABR-1 bridges and the metric version has a 4 mm metric thread for use with Gotoh and other 'import' ABR-1 style TOM bridges. Please note, because the posts are brass like the originals they are softer than steel and can sometimes bend over time (Gibson has largely replaced brass ABR-1 posts with steel), brass posts are only recommended for those looking for complete vintage accuracy.
