The Left Handed Top Mounting Gotoh GHL-2 Tremolo Locking Nut is the most popular size for double locking tremolo equipped guitars, it is 43 mm wide which is the same as a Floyd Rose R3 nut (the most common size) and is the standard nut supplied with renowned Gotoh GE1996T double locking tremolo.

Gotoh locking nuts are not symmetrical, the string slots are wider for the bass strings and so this left handed nut allows you to install the correct size nut for your guitar. The nut comes with top mounting screws, three different thickness shims to allow you to set the correct nut height and a string retainer bar to ensure the correct angle of the strings over the back of the nut to keep them in tune when locking the nut. The nut also comes with a pin to mark the centre of the screw holes for drilling and a wrench for locking and unlocking the nut.
