The Wilkinson VS1300 Tremolo System with Locking Saddles and steel sustain block is made by Gotoh in Japan using their advanced technology and high quality manufacturing.

The VS locking saddle is in the comfortable and unique Wilkinson shape but with a locking screw that clamps the string in place just as it is leaving the saddle, with no excess string behind the saddle or in the block to move and snag during bending this locking system ensures the strings return to pitch correctly after tremolo use while still fitting the standard Fender 2 Point tremolo mounting.

The six individual saddles are intonatable and height adjustable and secure to the base plate with the lock down hex screw, the height adjustment screws fit into slots in the baseplate which stop sideways movement of the saddles. The base plate is made from hardened steel and features their unique knife edge design, the bass end is a semi-circle like a standard strat style tremolo but the treble knife edge is straight which allows for any variation in the spacing of the pivot post bushings and ensures a smooth tremolo motion. The tremolo features a large solid steel sustain block and the pivot posts can be locked into their body bushings to give the most transmission of sound to the body. The tension holding the tremolo arm can be adjusted via a set screw in the bridge and the arm and all mounting hardware is included.
