The classic Firebird tone is a special blend of bright, single coil high end and a more focused humbucker low end, the result is a pickup with a cool snarly grittiness and enough bite to cut through any mix, great for big, midrangy chords or solo tone with an edgy bite. The pickup is a drop in replacement for any mini humbucker sized route and is intended to be mounted to the guitar using a Firebird style mounting ring (not included) and 3-48 humbucker mounting screws, it comes with a vintage Gibson style shielded single conductor braided hookup wire and is wax potted for squeal free performance.
