The Seymour Duncan STK-S4M Classic Stack Plus Noiseless Strat Middle Pickup looks and sounds like a true Stratocaster single coil but none of the traditional single coil hum.

It’s got all of the sparkle and the chime that you would expect from a vintage Strat pickup and is reverse wound, reverse polarity (RWRP) to give you hum cancelling operation in positions 2 and 4 on a Fender Stratocaster that doesn't have noiseless pickups in the neck or bridge or when combining with a split humbucker in the bridge. Back in the '80s Seymour Duncan patented a special bottom coil that actually injects negative hum into the pickup circuit and at the end of the production process they fine tune each pickup for maximum noise cancellation so you get all the great qualities of a classic Strat pickup and none of the hum. The pickups use hand ground alnico 5 rod magnets and comes with a splittable 3 conductor hookup wire to give you access to true single coil operation, the pickup is also wax potted for squeal free performance.
