The Wampler Cory Wong Compressor and Boost Pedal is at the heart of his legendary tone, this dynamic toolkit shapes your sound with sparkling cleans and responsive compression either direct to your amp or straight into your recording interface.

Two soft click footswitches operate each function of the pedal independently, for the Compressor side there is Volume, Sustain, Attack and Blend control knobs as well as Brian Wampler’s signature Tone control which can be dialled in to add sparkle and chime to your guitar's tone. The attack knob controls how quickly the compression takes effect, the sustain knob controls the amount of compression and the blend control lets you mix in the dry/unaffected signal to maintain the natural pick attack and feel of your clean tone which keeps a realistic sound while giving you the benefit of added sustain and controlled volume (from 100% dry to 100% wet). On the right side of the pedal there is a Comp On switch which permanently engages the compressor circuit when depressed, this ensures you can comfortably turn the boost footswitch on and off without accidentally hitting the compressor footswitch, great for a live environment.

For the boost side there is a control that adjusts the amount of boost added and a voice switch that selects between a flat boost and a rich saturated boost with an extra vibrancy around the 550 Hz range. The boost is after the compressor.

On the left side of the pedal is a balanced XLR output enabling it to be plugged directly into a computer interface, mixing desk or PA for those signature bright and clean tones, there's also a ground lift switch to eliminate any ground noise that might be added from plugging in the XLR. The centre LED is green when just the compressor is active, blue when just the boost is active and white when both sides are active.
