The Faber Tone Lock Tailpiece Kit improves sustain, vibration transfer and tone by locking the tailpiece against the body of the guitar. The high quality steel posts replace the existing posts and come in either imperial (for USA made guitars) or metric (for Japanese and other 'import' guitars) threads to suit your guitar. Included are 3 pairs of different height steel spacers to allow you to set your tailpiece height as required (these can also be stacked together), the spacers sit between the tailpiece and the body studs and as you tighten down the tailpiece the top of post will clamp the tailpiece to the spacer, locking it to the guitar body, improving vibration transfer, eliminating rattles and the tailpiece won't fall off when changing strings.

More comfy than Tonepros
I find these Faber studs more comfy than Tonepros, the edges of top of the studs are more rounded. Not as rounded as the Gibson ones, but still comfy. My recent Tonepros had sharp edges, with some rough areas that needed sanding. If you sling your Les Paul Junior like Keith Richards, this won't be a problem :)
Also, I find the Faber Tone Lock system with fixed height washers easier than the Tonepros fully adjustable ones. Adjusting the lock washer on fully adjustable studs is difficult with arthritic hands. You could get yourself a guitar tech like Keef :)
More washers with different heights would be better, to allow somewhere between 4mm and 5.5mm
Hope this helps.

Dead easy
Really easy to install, replaced my Gibson Les Paul posts, kept my Gibson tailpiece but was able to lock it down nice and tight to the body, so when topwrapping, the tailpiece doesn’t tilt. Seems to have improved sustain somewhat!
