Description
These Hosco Mini Gauged Nut Slotting Files are double edged and allow precise slotting of nuts and Tune-o-matic saddles. Their mini size is compatible with the Hosco Gauged Nut Slotting File Handle which we stock as a separate item and makes using slotting files easier, especially with smaller gauges. Having specific file thicknesses makes slotting work considerably quicker, easier and more accurate and if you are missing the specific gauge you need smaller files can be used to make slightly wider slots by rocking the file from side to side when filing the slot (e.g. the .010" slot can be used for a .011" string). The files come with a black oxide finish to help rust prevention.
