The Switchcraft 1/4" Stereo Guitar Barrel Jack Socket mounts flush with the guitar body edge for a clean look, no mounting plate required, the same style as used commonly on Ibanez RG and similar guitars. The shortest solder terminal is the output (to the jack's tip), the middle length terminal is the ring (for connecting to a battery etc) and the longest length terminal is ground (sleeve).
