Description
The Gotoh 203B-4 Bass Bridge is in the standard Fender Jazz & P Bass style with a bent baseplate and barrel saddles but it is upgraded with a thicker brass baseplate for a more solid connection and brass saddles.
The saddles are individually intonatable and height adjustable and the outer E and G saddles run in slots in the baseplate to stop sideways movement of the saddles (also made possible by the thicker baseplate), the saddles also have standard 19 mm string to string spacing. The seven fixing screws (included) provide maximum sustain and sound transmission to the guitar body and the back five screws are the standard Fender five screw spacing (you can leave out the front two screws for a completely reversible mod if preferred). The top loading strings mount through the back of the bridge for quick and easy restringing.
