This Hosco Martin Style one way Truss Rod has a steel rod anchored in an aluminium U channel housing and is suited for making Martin style acoustic guitars with heel end, sound hole accessible truss rods. The truss rod nut adjusts with a 5 mm allen key/hex wrench (not included).

The truss rod should be installed into a flat bottom, straight channel with the flat surface of the U channel flat upwards (against the fretboard) and the rounded side of the channel facing downwards. Glue the rod into the channel with a thin line of epoxy on the sides of the channel, please do not remove the masking tape on the rounded side of the channel as it stops glue running in to the truss rod, clamp the truss rod in place (removing any squeeze out) while the glue dries. Please take care to ensure no glue runs in to the channel when gluing on the fretboard.
