With a nickel plated enclosure and a one piece machined brass tip for extra durability, this heavy duty professional plug builds on decades of proven quality. Inside the housing is a cable clamp which is crimped around the exterior cable jacket to keep the cable in place and provide additional strain relief and the low profile enclosure allows for tight spacing of cables in a patch bay. The Switchcraft 280FL accepts larger cable diameters from 5.6 mm to 6.4 mm so you can use your favourite high quality cable and know it will fit.
