These Hosco Paper in Oil Phone Book Capacitors are made in the traditional vintage style but without the vintage price tag.

They are based on the original 'Phone Book' style capacitors used in tone circuit of vintage Stratocaster and Precision Bass guitars and are flatter and squarer than other paper in oil capacitors. The 0.022 uF value is used with humbucker pickups and 0.047 uF is used with single coil pickups and on a lot of basses. Please note, paper in oil caps are much larger than ceramic caps typically found in modern guitars, please check the dimension images for sizes.
