This Hosco Mandolin Scratchplate / Pickguard and Mounting Bracket is in the classic Gibson F-5 style, the distinctive shape follows the curves of the mandolin body and it features outer white binding with black and white inner purfling lines.

The pickguard has a reinforcing strip on the underside (the top end may need shaping to accommodate the raised part of the body where it meets the fretboard around the 15th fret) and is pre drilled for the included mounting pins that press into the side of the fretboard. The mandolin scratchplate mounting bracket has a 47 mm long arm which is threaded at the end for adjusting the ebony pickguard mounting block, and the arm sits 19 mm above the mounting screw (screw included).
