This Shinwa Rules Protractor has a handy built in ruler so you can easily measure and transfer angles, very useful for checking existing headstock angles and marking them out on new builds.

To mark an angle simply set the pointer at the base of the ruler to the desired angle marking on the protractor and tighten the thumbscrew to lock the measurement in place and then line up the bottom edge of the protractor with the reference surface you want to mark the angle onto, where the bottom edge of the ruler meets the protractor is the starting point of the angle. The tool features permanently etched, easy to read black graduations and is made from stainless steel for a long life. The ruler has millimetre and centimetre graduations from its end up to 10 cm (the total ruler length to the centre of the protractor is 15 cm) and the protractor is marked every degree from 0° to 180°.
