This Shinwa Rules Profile Gauge lets you accurately copy neck profiles, carved tops and other hard to measure surfaces for making templates and reproducing that perfect shape on your own project.

To use simply hold the handle and push the pins against the shape you wish to copy, the pins will slide within the handle to conform around the shape you can then place it over paper/plywood/MDF etc. and use a pencil to copy the shape onto your template material. The pins are only 0.8 mm in diameter to conform tightly around the shape for a high resolution copy. The usable width of the pins is 148 mm and the total depth you can copy is 49 mm. The pins are stainless steel for a long life.
