Bringing you classic '50s Tele twang and snap with a treble response that is bright but never piercing, these pickups are custom aged for a smoother treble response. They have a nice rounded low end. The Antiquity Tele Lead pickup boasts highs which are sweetened by the custom calibrated, hand ground Alnico two rod magnets. Like the originals, the ferrous bottom plates are not wax potted, giving you that classic Telecaster tone which is just on the verge of feedback. The Antiquity Tele Rhythm is a faithful reproduction of an early ’50s Tele neck pickup. The bass response is full and round, and will add richness to your chords, while the specially calibrated hand ground Alnico five rod magnets and custom coil winding give the top end a smoother, more musical attack. It’s great for big, bold rhythm playing, and percussive enough for classic country style chicken pickin’.

The neck pickup is wound RWRP (reverse wound, reverse polarity), so that when used together with the bridge coil they will be hum cancelling, saving you the 60 cycle blues. Hand built in California, these pickups also feature an aged look, making them perfect for fitting to a vintage guitar. The period correct look also gives you a convincing aged aesthetic without the worry of vintage parts failing on your next gig. Each pickup is hand fabricated and scatter wound in their Custom Shop. Seymour Duncan use vintage style push back cloth wire, custom aged, deep drawn cover for the neck pickup and this set are lacquered and potted in lamp black paraffin wax, just like they were in the ’50s, saving you microphonic noise.
