Originally designed for extended range instruments, the Pegasus Humbucker Bridge is now available for six string players. It incorporates an alnico five bar magnet and custom winding specs delivering a warm, balanced, responsive and lush tone specifically designed for progressive metal. It’s a harmonically rich pickup giving your guitar a prominent midrange and a focused low end. The high resonant peak makes for a sparkly top end and an incredible “bloom” on chords in high gain situations. The responsive and accurate pick attack ensures that you will cut through any live mix and will have tight tracking transients in a studio environment. Additionally, because it is a moderate output pickup, it will work as well for clean tones as it does for distorted tones, giving your guitar versatility. Hand built in Santa Barbara, California, the Seymour Duncan Pegasus features an alnico five bar magnet, nickel silver bottom plate, four conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options and is vacuum wax potted for squeal free performance.
