This DiMarzio 250K Push/Pull Audio Taper Guitar Pot/Potentiometer gives your guitar tons of tonal options simply by pulling up or pushing down on the guitars control knob.

DiMarzio sought out the most robust, reliable and finest sounding electrical parts, including many parts that are custom built for them specifically, to give your guitar significant improvements. This Potentiometer packs two functions in one, the pot works as normal on its own but built in is an independent double pole double throw (DPDT) switch which can be wired to add/remove pickups, for coil splitting and tapping, or for series/parallel switching and phase switching just by pulling up or pushing down on the guitars control knob. It boasts ultra smooth rotation and features a convenient solder point for grounding at the switch base, so that all your wires will cleanly run in one direction, eliminating the need for any soldering to the pot itself.

The split shaft and bushings are made from machined brass, just like the vintage originals, with 24 teeth and a 32 thread turn, a perfect fit for USA knobs, including DiMarzio, Fender, and Gibson. The 250 K Ohms resistance pot gives a warmer tone and is traditionally used with single coil pickups (Stratocaster style guitars, etc.) and its logarithmic audio taper is normally used for volume pots so the human ear can hear the volume change more smoothly (though now commonly used for tone pots as well). Please note, these are direct replacements for the standard 3/8 inch (9.525 mm) holes found on most Fenders and Gibsons. Some enlargement may be required for non standard diameters.
