This DiMarzio Mega Tone 1 Meg Custom Audio Taper Guitar Pot/Potentiometer is designed to be used as a tone control with DiMarzio or other high-impedance guitar pickups and features a custom taper.

The Mega Tone is designed with a custom taper to give your guitar control a unique roll off feel and sound. Compared to standard tone controls this pot will give your guitar a more accurate treble roll off and hi-fi sound throughout the rotation (270 degrees). It is a 1,000,000 ohm pot designed to be used as a tone control for your high impedance pickups. Recommended if you like to precisely tune in your sound, or for getting more treble response and output from your guitar pickups, such as the DiMarzio Area T (which we also sell separately).

Please note, these are direct replacements for the standard 3/8 inch (9.525 mm) holes found on most Fender and Gibson guitars. Some enlargement may be required for non standard or metric hole diameters. The DiMarzio Mega Tone pot is sure to open up the sound of your guitar and give you more precise control.
