This official Ibanez Anchor Nut is used on many of their top of the line Japanese made guitars like the RG, S and Jem models from their Prestige and J Custom series, it is used with their Edge and Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolos.

The steel body bushing has a closed bottom which allows it to be used with the locking pivot posts on these tremolos (Edge and Lo-Pro Edge pivot posts have a locking screw at the bottom of the post that when tightened pushes against the bottom of the body bushing to lock the threads together, the body bushing needs to be closed at the bottom to allow this).
