This official Ibanez Locking Post for Edge, Lo-Pro Edge Double Locking Tremolo eliminates pivot post wobble to maximise tuning stability and sustain, the post is available as a standalone part if you need to replace a worn out or damaged stud or keep as a spare.

The locking post on Edge and Lo-Pro Edge tremolos is a very popular feature on these original Ibanez trems, once the height of the pivot post is set for your desired action you can insert a 1.5 mm Allen key/hex wrench into the post to tighten a smaller screw inside the post, this smaller screw extends out the bottom of the post to push against the bottom of the body bushing which locks the two parts together (requires solid bottom body bushings). The height of the post is adjusted with a 4 mm Allen key/hex wrench (wrenches for the height adjustment and locking screws are not included).

Please note the Floyd Rose Original and Schaller Floyd Rose double locking tremolos use a different thread size and so the posts will not screw into Floyd Rose/Schaller body bushings.
