The Nobels ODR-1X Overdrive Pedal with Gain Boost and Bass Cut is the next generation of this now legendary overdrive, heralding a new chapter in the Nobels overdrive legacy.

Due to popular demand, a convenient external variable bass cut pot has been added to help you tame and adjust the low end. For high gain applications, a stealthily added switchable high gain boost can be engaged with a push button to transform the ODR-1X into a hard rock monster, giving your rig extra versatility with zero footprint change. The unique SPECTURM control pot enables the ODR-1X to retain midrange harmonic content when increasing the overdrive. Turning the knob clockwise increases the bass and treble at the same time, while the midrange stays untouched in either direction. This gives your guitar tone a rare transparency with a pinch of warmth. It works effectively with guitars’ volume controls for tonal changes often needed in songs. An external compartment door on the top of the pedal allows you to swiftly change 9 V battery and now also contains a switch to enable changes between true bypass or buffered bypass.

Nobels have also added the ability to control both the gain boost and on/off remotely with an additional top mounted jack, allowing you to easily integrate it for use with various switching systems. The knobs feature fluorescent ‘Glow in the Dark’ pointers which help you see adjustments in low lighting environments. It includes a set of integrated fold out Mounty-P mounting plates, which enable secure and clean fastening of the pedal to your pedalboard. With all these additional features, their iconic styling still plays homage to the original cult classic. Powered by a regular 9 to 18 V DC (no power supply included) or by 9 V Battery. The pedal features basic controls to let you focus on the music. A drive knob controls the amount of overdrive introduced and the spectrum knob adjust the tone balance of the pedal. A level knob allows you to set the overall master volume of the unit.
