Use the Voltage (lightning bolt) knob to crank up to 18 V into the pedal's circuit for massive, open fuzz sounds, or choose to starve it down to three volts for angry sounding, gated fuzz. Experiment with the Voltage and Mode knobs for lots of varied fuzz tones. Find the vintage inspired sounds emanating from the stages of Woodstock, to the more chaotic three chord punk rock vibe.

With six control knobs, including the Mode selection knob, the pedal keeps things streamlined while giving you plenty of options for various shades of useful effects settings. The Vol knob sets the overall output volume of the pedal, while Voltage and Gain controls interact with the overall output volume of the pedal, giving you plenty of volume on tap to compensate. The Gain knob sets the amount of gain applied to your guitar signal passing through the fuzz circuit. Tone controls allow you to incrementally tame or boost the pedals EQ structure, with the Treble knob allowing you to increase clarity in the high frequency range, or tame it depending on your amplifier and rig. Starting at noon, turn down to cut out highs and turning up to allows you to add more highs.

The Eons pedal features a five position rotary Mode knob, giving you simple access to the following clipping configurations:

• Silicon traditional fuzz that's well rounded with a huge sound; compressed and smooth
• Silicon with an added bass boost that boosts the low end at the beginning of the circuit; compressed and crunchy
• Germanium that sounds like the combination of distortion and fuzz, crunchy and dynamic
• LED clipping diodes with a slight high-end cut; dynamically dark
• Hard clipping silicon transistors combined with LED and silicon soft clipping diodes, the rowdiest of the modes with tons of gain, giving you compressed, loud and angry sound

Ultra tweakable controls allow you to quickly shape the tone and response of the pedal. For example, as you cut the voltage, it will begin to produce a starved sound and have a brighter frequency response. As you approach noon on the Voltage control, it will have a gating effect. Lower voltages will also drastically reduce the output volume of the pedal, useful if you just want a more subtle effected boost. This knob behaves slightly differently across all the different modes.
