Description
The Ernie Ball Concert / Tenor Wound Low G Ball End Nylon Ukulele Strings give you either a bright, balanced tone with excellent projection, or a warm, rich tone with percussive attack.
These sets feature a .030” gauge wound low G string. This new gauge combination is ideal if you want to tune your ukulele using a modern 'Low G' tuning (this is closer to the way a guitar is tuned). The strings are made from 100% nylon monofilament, while the wound G string is made from nylon multifilament wrapped with 80/20 bronze. Made with either a traditional clear resin for a bright, balanced tone with excellent projection, or with a black resin for a warmer, rich tone with percussive attack.
Ernie Ball ukulele strings feature ball end construction for faster, easier installation over traditional tie end strings (saving you the difficulty of wrapping at tension.) Their ball ends contain no metal, so are safe to rest against your bridge and ensure a scratch free fit and removal. Their design also prevents unwanted slack and delivers up to 20% faster break in times. These strings will fit both concert and soprano ukuleles and they're made by Ernie Ball in their California factory using state of the art technology for consistency and reliability and packaged in their watertight element shield packaging to resist humidity and keep your strings factory fresh.
