Description
This official Fender Road Worn '70s Telecaster Deluxe Maple C Neck 9.5" Radius 21 Fret boasts some impressive and much loved Fender specs.
Crafted in Ensenada, Mexico, it features a medium C shaped neck profile and 9.5" radius maple fingerboard with 21 medium jumbo frets and black position dot inlays, giving you the comfortable playing feel of a vintage instrument but with unused player requested parts. The nitrocellulose lacquer applied to the neck is a vintage accurate finish that wears gradually over time creating a pleasantly worn in appearance with use, Fender's Road Worn necks are hand distressed to faithfully recreate the look and feel of a well loved vintage instrument. The synthetic bone nut is pre-slotted with 'pilot' string slots to make spacing a breeze when performing the final string slot filing.
This neck features the authentic three bolt design typical of '70s Teles, but only the bottom two neck mounting pilot holes are pre drilled, giving you the flexibility to use this neck with many different guitar bodies such as their more common four bolt design (this would require modification for final fit). It has 10.08 mm (.397”) tuner bushing holes drilled on the headstock for modern screw bolt bushings (two pin mount tuners) and the truss rod adjustment nut is at the headstock and is their vintage bullet style design. The fitted synthetic bone nut is pre-slotted with pilot string location grooves to make spacing a breeze when performing the final string slot filing. Some fret levelling/dressing and polishing may be required and minor woodwork to fit the neck to the body. This neck sports the cool vintage CBS era logo on their larger headstock shape. Please note, the photo displayed is an example image only and the wood grain and serial number will differ on the neck you receive.
The Fender Road Worn '70s Telecaster Deluxe Maple C Neck is the perfect way to give your Tele an authentic vintage Fender feel, or to replace an original '70s neck.
