Description
The Hosco fret slot cleaning saw is great for removing old glue or wood chips from slots meaning you can ensure frets seat properly during installation.
It has a specially shaped blade at 45 degrees to the 'pencil grip' handle for ergonomic use. The blade cuts on the pull stroke and the high level of control you have over the cut means you can get right up to the end of the fret slot to clean it out even if binding is installed. The blade has a thin kerf to ensure it can still fit the slots of instruments with the smallest fretwire (mandolins ukuleles etc.).
